WeatherAI 2026.06.4: Canadian Radar, Canadian Air Quality, and Per-Widget Locations
High-resolution Canadian radar and air quality from Environment and Climate Change Canada, the ability to pin each Home Screen widget to a specific saved location, smoother radar, and more.
What's New
WeatherAI 2026.06.4 brings Canada into the fold with high-resolution radar and a dedicated air quality index from Environment and Climate Change Canada, and lets you pin each Home Screen widget to a specific saved location.
Here's everything in this release.
Canadian Radar
Radar now covers Canada, sourced directly from Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC).
- High-resolution precipitation radar across Canada
- Animates right alongside your other radar layers
Air Quality for Canada
Canada now has dedicated air quality, using Environment and Climate Change Canada's Air Quality Health Index (AQHI).
- A home card with the current AQHI and risk level for your location
- A detail view with the nearest reporting station, current reading, and ECCC's forecast
Pick a Location for Each Widget
Home Screen widgets can now show a specific saved location instead of always following your current location.
- Edit a widget and choose any of your favorite locations, or keep it on current location
Radar Improvements
A refinement to how radar plays.
- Smoother tile loading and animation across radar products
General Improvements
A collection of smaller refinements throughout the app:
- Improvements to localization
- More consistent sharing across weather reports, maps, and cards
