WeatherAI 2025.12.2 brings a new way to compare forecasts, the ability to share radar imagery, chart improvements, and additional Lock Screen widgets.
Here's everything in this release.
NWS Data on the Home Screen
For users in the United States, you can now view National Weather Service (NWS) data and products directly on the Home screen. This new card makes it easy to compare official NWS forecasts and observations against your WeatherAI forecast without navigating to a separate tab.
The NWS card displays key information from your local NWS office, giving you another perspective on current and upcoming conditions right where you need it most.
More options for selecting weather data sources (including WeatherAI-generated forecasts) are coming in a future update.
Radar Sharing
You can now share radar screenshots and animated GIFs directly from the radar screen. Whether you want to show friends an approaching storm, document interesting weather patterns, or share conditions on social media, radar sharing makes it simple.
Just tap the share button on the radar screen to capture a static image or an animated loop of recent radar frames.
Chart Fixes and Historical Data
This release addresses several chart issues that were introduced in the previous version. Charts should now display correctly across all data types.
Additionally, subscribers now have historical data available on all charts. Some charts were previously missing historical data access—this has been resolved, giving Pro users the complete historical view they expect.
New Lock Screen Widgets
We've added additional Lock Screen widget types so you can customize your Lock Screen with more weather information at a glance. Check the widget gallery on your iPhone to see the new options available.
SPC Notification Fix
Fixed an issue where some content wouldn't display correctly when opening the app from SPC (Storm Prediction Center) notifications. Tapping these notifications now properly shows the associated SPC products.
Get the Update
WeatherAI 2025.12.2 is available now on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, and Vision Pro. If you have automatic updates enabled, you may already have it.
